InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin is behind us - four intensive days marked by numerous visitors, business meetings, new connections, and valuable discussions about the future of public transport and smart mobility. From 22nd to 25th Sept, PENTA presented its solutions at one of the world’s leading trade fairs for transport technology, bringing together leading industry representatives, public transport operators, technology companies and mobility professionals from around the world.

For the PENTA team, this was an exceptionally successful edition of the trade fair. Throughout all four days, our stand attracted continuous interest from visitors, and we held numerous business meetings with existing and potential partners from different countries. Many of these conversations opened the door to new business contacts, potential projects, and opportunities for further international cooperation. A particular focus was placed on our solutions for the digitalisation of public transport and smart mobility, including BusCARD 4.0 IoT, EMV Transit, the Driver Control Computer (DCC), smart validators, Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems, Passenger Information Systems (PIS) and GPS/AVL solutions.

Visit from the Croatian Delegation

It was a particular pleasure to welcome the official delegation of the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, led by State Secretary Žarko Tušek, who visited Croatian exhibitors during the trade fair and learned more about their solutions and innovations. The delegation’s visit to the PENTA stand further highlighted the importance of presenting Croatian technological solutions on the international stage and connecting the domestic industry with European and global markets.

A Record-Breaking InnoTrans

This year’s InnoTrans was particularly significant as the trade fair celebrated its 30th anniversary. This edition was also a record-breaking one, bringing together 3,190 exhibitors from 59 countries and around 175,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries. The exhibition covered all 42 halls of Messe Berlin, while 113 vehicles from 17 countries were presented in the Outdoor Display. These figures demonstrate the importance of InnoTrans as an international platform for connecting the transport industry, technology, and new business opportunities.

Berlin Behind Us - Barcelona Ahead

Following our successful participation in Berlin, PENTA is already preparing for its next major international exhibition. See you in Barcelona at Smart City Expo World Congress, from 3rd to 5th Nov 2026! There, we will once again showcase our solutions for smart mobility and the digital transformation of cities, while continuing the conversations and connections started in Berlin.
