Invitation to the Round Table "Innovative solutions for smart mobility"

We are pleased to invite you to the Round Table "Innovative solutions for smart urban mobility" which will be held online on November 26, 2020 (Thursday) starting at 10:00 am, and where the director of PENTA, Mladen Pamić, will talk about innovative solutions we are developing in the field of urban mobility and urban public transport.

The round table is organized by the Department of Urban Transport of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, and its purpose is to open a discussion between representatives of the Ministry, entrepreneurs offering innovative solutions for smart urban mobility, academia and representatives of companies for public urban passenger transport. The aim of the round table is to bring together experts who stand out with their work on the subject of smart urban mobility or whose work and experience so far can provide new guidelines.

The expected duration of the round table is 3 hours. In the first part of the program doc. Dr. sc. Marko Slavulj (Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences) will present the project, while Tomislav Hodak, B.Sc. ing. (Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure) will talk about sustainable public transport, and the challenges and opportunities offered by EU funds. Starting at 10:55, the director of PENTA, Mladen Pamić, B.Sc. ing., will present the CITYpass solution, i.e. the application of the city card in the field of urban mobility, which enables simpler, faster and cheaper use of city services (public urban and suburban transport, parking, visits to libraries, museums, tourist attractions, sports facilities). In the second part of the program, representatives of the companies Zagrebački električni tramvaj d.o.o., and Pulapromet d.o.o. will share their experiences and challenges faced by urban public transport in times of the coronavirus pandemic.
