PENTA d.o.o. will once again exhibit at InnoTrans 2026, the world's leading international trade fair for transport technology, taking place in Berlin from 22 to 25 Sept 2026. Visitors will find us in Hall 7.1C, Stand 400, where we will showcase our latest innovations in ticketing, public transport digitalisation and smart mobility.

We are particularly proud to present BusCARD 4.0 IoT, our next-generation platform for fare collection and public transport management, developed to modernise public transport systems and enhance the passenger experience.Our exhibition stand will feature an interactive bus interior, where visitors will have the opportunity to explore the functional prototype of our new Driver Control Computer (DCC) and the latest BusCARD Validator (VAL).

BusCARD 4.0 IoT brings multiple functions together within a single integrated platform, including:
•    driver workplace management through the all-in-one Driver Control Computer (DCC) 
•    ticket sales and validation 
•    EMV Transit contactless payments using bank cards, smartphones and smartwatches 
•    GPS/AVL vehicle tracking 
•    passenger Information System (PIS) management 
•    integration with onboard vehicle equipment 
•    secure IoT communication and connectivity with central back-office systems 

EMV Transit - The future of fare collection

A key highlight of our presentation will be the EMV Transit fare collection model, enabling passengers to use their own contactless bank card, smartphone or wearable device as a travel ticket.
This open-loop approach significantly simplifies ticket purchase and validation, reduces passenger boarding times and enables transport operators to implement modern fare collection systems more efficiently.

In addition to public transport solutions, we will demonstrate how the BusCARD platform integrates with a wide range of smart mobility services, including:
•    bike sharing systems 
•    smart parking solutions 
•    electric vehicle charging infrastructure 
•    interoperable mobility services across multiple operators 

By connecting these services into a single digital ecosystem, BusCARD helps create seamless mobility experiences for citizens, commuters and visitors while supporting the development of smarter, more sustainable cities.
